Marlins Taking Advantage of Perfect Game

Roy Halladay and the Philadelphia Phillies aren’t the only ones feeling great about the latest perfect game in Major League Baseball history.
The Florida Marlins are taking advantage of the situation as well. Starting tomorrow, the Marlins will be selling all unused tickets from Halladay’s perfect game in Florida.
The tickets will be sold at face value. Roughly 25,000 people showed up for the perfect game Saturday night. But, that still means there are thousands of tickets for sale.
So is this ridiculous on the Marlins behalf? It may be, but it’s an easy way to make a buck. There were plenty of seats still open for the game, and if anyone missed it they still have a chance to own a piece of history. This most likely will not be the last time we see a team do this very same thing when the next perfect game rolls around.
