Baylor-UConn beats Yankees-Redsox
Apr 5th, 2010 | By Jake Doerr | Category: College BasketballLast night the Baylor women met the amazing UConn women and drew a 2.6 rating on ESPN, which was a lot better then last years Stanford vs UConn game that drew a 1.9 rating. The Yankees and Red Sox met in the opening game of the MLB regular season and they controlled a 2.4 rating on ESPN, well the story isn’t completely true.Even though on ESPN the baseball game only drew a 2.4, the game drew a far bigger audience because the game was broadcast regionally on the YES network and NESN. Between the two networks they had a 29.7 rating, that is huge.
But you still have to be shocked at the number the women’s game drew, I can’t say I watched it but congrats to those ladies.
